1) Manage the settings for QR code scanning
To set up and manage your setting for QR code scanning, navigate to settings on your dashboard.
Select Manage on the general settings tab.
Navigate to the QR Code Criteria tab and select Get Started.
Using the dropdown selection available, select which skills / personal details you would like to have visibility into when the individuals QR code is scanned on their card.
Your selection will appear in a list format to the right of your screen.
Should you need to delete an item from the selection, select the delete button and it will be removed from the list.
2) How to print / view the card
To print the required individual card, navigate to People Manager on your dashboard.
Select the print button that displays next to the selected individual.
You will receive a pop-up message to print a Standard Card or an Authorisation Card.
2.1) Standard Card
The card will automatically populate for you to download or to print directly from the system, whereby the QR code will be available to scan.
2.1.1) How to scan the QR Code displayed on the card
Note: The QR Code will only be available to scan on a Standard Card print.
When the individual presents his/her card to be scanned, this can be done on any smart device if it has the available functionality.
To scan the card on your laptop or PC, navigate to Scan QR Code on your dashboard.
Follow your system prompts to access the QR Code scan. Once the card has been scanned by your smart device, the individuals’ details will appear to view given that the individual has the requirements as per set in the QR Code Scanning.
To scan the card on your smart phone, navigate to Scan QR Code in your menu items that display on the Mobile App.
Scan the barcode on the card with your smart phone.
Wait for your smart device to register the details.
The individual’s safety glance will display according to the QR settings applied, which will include any information pertaining to the selection in the status column.
Note: When scanning an individual’s QR code. Where the individual is associated with your organization, this view will allow you access to view the items in each section, as well as the associated documents that have been uploaded.
Simply click on the view button that displays next to the applicable line item.
2.2) Authorisation Card
The authorization card selection only displays lists of authorisations that are applicable to the individual.
Note: It if the card displays “No Expiry,” this will indicate that no expiry dates were collected at the time of upload.
