KPI Manager enables Corporate Clients to set and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for their Service Providers. By setting Key Performance Indicators, the Organization will be aided in making smart business decisions about the direction of all current projects as well as indicate which Service Providers are achieving key business objectives.
Note: Only the assigned responsible person as well as system administrators have functionality to answer KPI’s. This rule applies to both the Corporate Client as well as their Service Providers.
Corporate Client – Assign KPI’s via Project Compliance
Should a KPI be assigned to a Service Provider that was not assigned during the Vendor Management process, this can be done via the Project Compliance module.
Note: The Service Provider must already be linked to your project before this function can happen.
Navigate to Project Compliance on your dashboard.
Select the view icon next to the project that you need to open.
Again, select the view icon next to the Service Provider that needs to be assigned the KPI.
Once the Service Providers pack details appear, navigate to KPI in the selection of menu items available.
Using the dropdown selections available, select the KPI group and then select the KPI unit that needs to be assigned.
To complete the action, select assign.
A list of the assigned KPI’s will display for the Service Provider to view as well as the Project Manager on behalf of the Corporate Client.
Note: If a KPI already has a responsible person linked to the KPI, the Service Provider and the Corporate Client need to take note that this is because when the KPI was set up, the creator of the KPI selected this KPI for the internal Corporate Client to answer. The responsible person to answer these internal KPI’s is set as the Project Manager as a default.
To delete an assigned KPI, select the delete button.
If you select the “assign responsible person” icon as a Corporate Client user, the below message will populate due to you not being logged in as the Service Provider, which means only the Service Provider can assign a responsible person from their own organization to assign a responsible person to the KPI.
To view any KPI answers submitted by the Service Provider, select the view button that displays next to the KPI.
The data will include the KPI target, the submitted answer, any comments added by the person who submitted the KPI, date answered, Service Provider name and the project that they are linked to.
Note: If a supporting document was uploaded on the time of submission, you can view the submitted document by selecting the download button that displays next to the answer. If the submission does not have a document attached to it, the download button will not appear in the display.
When you select the download button, the document will appear, whereby you will be able to download and print the document if it is necessary.
