Control and issue PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to your Employees, Contractors, and related Equipment items.
For easy searching of a specific PPE item, use the “Search” selection.
To view the PPE Item details, use the view option available.
To delete a PPE Item, select the item and delete.
Use the calendar button to select applicable dates.
To cancel any action at any given point, simply select the cancel button to return to the previous field.
1) Create Standard PPE
Navigate to PPE Manager on your dashboard.
Select the Create Standard PPE button to create a new PPE item.
Note: PPE Standards are created as per the Company standard requirements.
Fill in the required fields.
Once you have completed the action, select the save button.
Your PPE standards will appear in your listed PPE on the right of your page.
If you want to remove the PPE Standard, select the delete button to remove the item entirely.
2) Add PPE
Select the Add PPE button.
Note: You will be required to select if this is a PPE Standard. If you select “Yes” the previously created PPE Standard will pull in for you to select the item. You can then continue with adding your PPE item.
Fill in the required fields.
Use the arrow buttons up or down to select the number of units you have, alternatively you can free text the number into the field.
Use the arrow buttons up or down to select the price per unit, alternatively you can free text the price into the field.
Note: You can use a point in your pricing. Eg: 10.15
Select an expiry date by using your calendar.
Once complete, select the save button.
Your PPE item will now populate in the PPE listed items. The status column indicates whether a PPE item is valid or if it has expired. The details will also include to whom the PPE belongs to displaying under the “Ownership” column.
If you need to edit your PPE item, select the view button, next to the required item,
update the fields and select
Keep in mind that all information can be edited however the quantity cannot be changes to a number LESS that the amount of PPE already assigned to Employees and / or Equipment.
Note: If you delete a PPE item, any assignments made against the PPE item will also be deleted.
3) Assign PPE to another BU
Select the assign PPE button
Select the PPE that you would like to assign and select the division.
Note: The full unit quantity available will be assigned to the selected division and will be viewable on that division only.
Once you have made your selection, push the save button and it will be assigned accordingly.
4) Assign PPE to an Employee / Equipment / Service Provider
If you need to assign PPE to a specific individual or equipment type, view the PPE that you would like to assign and scroll down.
To assign an Employee with PPE, Select assign Employee.
Use the dropdown selection available to choose an Employee that the PPE needs to be assigned to and select save.
A list of the assigned PPE will display in a list format for you to see where the PPE is assigned and on which date it was assigned.
Note: If an expiry is selected, an email notification will be sent to notify the User of the expiry.
The same steps are taken when assigning your PPE to Equipment, by simply selecting the assign equipment button
Complete the assignment by selecting save.
When assigning PPE to your Service Providers, use the dropdown selection available to select the service provider that the PPE needs to be assigned to, add in the quantity of items that need to be assigned and select save when you are complete.
5) Track PPE Assigned
To track the amount of the select PPE item that is available, the system will have an additional grid display of “Quantities Assigned”.
This display will show you which Service Providers have been issued with PPE and what quantity was assigned, how many items have been assigned internally and it will display how many items are remaining that still need to be issued.
As an additional quick display on the status of the PPE items, you can select the information symbol that displays next to the quantity amount, on the “home page” of PPE Manager.
If you hover over the information display, a quick display of the assignment will pop up for you to view.
As the Service Provider assigns the PPE to their respective places, the data will be updated and displayed accordingly for the Corporate Client to see.
